WHAT IS CLAT ONLINE COACHING?
CLAT Online Coaching is a structured digital preparation programme designed for students aspiring to secure admission into the National Law Universities (NLUs) through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Instead of relying on recorded videos alone, a comprehensive online coaching programme combines live interactive classes, expert mentorship, mock test series, study material, doubt-solving sessions, and performance analytics to help students prepare effectively from anywhere in India.
The flexibility of online learning makes it suitable for Class 11 students, Class 12 students, repeaters, and gap-year aspirants who want quality legal entrance preparation without relocating to another city. Students receive the same academic guidance, classroom discipline, and competitive testing environment as an offline programme while studying from home.
At Law Prep, the CLAT Online Coaching programme follows a mentor-led approach where every class is taught live by experienced faculty, supported by structured assignments, sectional tests, All India mock examinations, and personalized performance reviews. The objective is not only to complete the syllabus but also to develop legal reasoning, reading comprehension, critical thinking, and time management skills required for CLAT.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF CLAT EXAM
CLAT 2027 EXAM PATTERN & SECTION-WISE WEIGHTAGE
Understanding the CLAT 2027 exam pattern is the first step towards effective preparation. The Common Law Admission Test consists of 120 comprehension-based questions to be completed in 2 hours. Every section evaluates analytical reading and reasoning skills, with Current Affairs and Legal Reasoning carrying the highest overall weightage.
English Language
Expected Questions: 22–26, Weightage: 20%
Short comprehension passages test vocabulary, grammar, tone, inference, and contextual understanding. Focus on improving reading speed, accuracy, and passage interpretation through daily editorial reading and practice.
Current Affairs & General Knowledge
Expected Questions: 28–32, Weightage: 25%
This is the highest-weightage section and covers national and international events, legal developments, government policies, awards, economics, and important contemporary issues. Consistent monthly revision is essential.
Legal Reasoning
Expected Questions: 28–32, Weightage: 25%
Students analyse legal principles, arguments, factual situations, and passage-based legal scenarios. No prior legal knowledge is required, but strong analytical reasoning is essential.
Logical Reasoning
Expected Questions: 22–26, Weightage: 20%
Students analyse legal principles, arguments, factual situations, and passage-based legal scenarios. No prior legal knowledge is required, but strong analytical reasoning is essential.
Quantitative Techniques
Expected Questions: 10–14, Weightage: 10%
Students analyse legal principles, arguments, factual situations, and passage-based legal scenarios. No prior legal knowledge is required, but strong analytical reasoning is essential.
A PRACTICAL DAILY CLAT STUDY ROUTINE
CURRENT AFFAIRS & NEWSPAPER READING
Time: 30–45 min
Read important national and international developments, legal and constitutional issues, and major events relevant to the exam.
ENGLISH READING & COMPREHENSION
Time: 30 min
Read an editorial, article or quality passage and identify the main idea, arguments, tone and important details.
LEGAL REASONING
Time: 40–45 min
Practise passage-based questions and focus on applying the principles and information provided in the passage.
LOGICAL REASONING
Time: 30 min
Practise arguments, assumptions, conclusions, inferences and logical relationships.
QUANTITATIVE TECHNIQUES
Time: 20–30 min
Practise calculations, data interpretation and relevant mathematical concepts.
REVISION & PERFORMANCE REVIEW
Time: 20–30 min
Go through questions you found challenging, identify the reason behind each mistake, and note the areas that need more practice.
These timings are a starting point, not a fixed timetable. Students who are stronger in reading-based sections may spend less time on English and use that time for Quantitative Techniques or Legal Reasoning. As the exam approaches, the routine can also shift towards more timed passage practice, mock tests and detailed error analysis.
